Intel Sixth Generation Core i3 6098P (3.6Ghz) Processor + Gigabyte H110M-DS2 DDR4 LGA1151 MotherBoard + 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz Memory

Below is a complete set of Intel Core i3-6098P and i3-6100 benchmarks from our CPU benchmark database. Both microprocessors were tested on ASRock Z170 Extreme4 motherboard with 16GB dual-channel Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-2400 CMK16GX4M2A2400C14 memory, and Integrated on-chip Skylake graphics.

All tests were performed at default frequency and voltage, using manufacturer’s stock fan/heatsink. None of the components were overclocked. Motherboard BIOS options were left at default settings.

The results of all benchmarks are broken into four categories: multi-threaded, single-threaded, memory intensive and graphics / gaming.

Core i3-6098P vs i3-6100 single-threaded benchmarks

Single-threaded benchmarks run on a single CPU core, and do not depend on such features as the number of cores, or Hyper-Threading technology. Additionally, they do not utilize on-chip caches, dedicated to other cores.

If you are using an dedicated GPU in real life there is no difference, and you will notice none. CPU benchmark is also depended on what kind of ram is being used.

If you are getting a good deal for i3 6098p then go for that, else go for 6100. As 6098 does not sold a lot and there many be stock available, you might get a good discount.

in pass mark look at “Last 5 Baselines for Intel Core i3-6098P” and the score in pass-mark is down for this cpu only for one bad result.
